It seems these situations that were mentioned are relative. As one increases the other decreases. When the money comes in it dissipates. Why did Jesus tell us “the poor you will have with you always”? Not meaning that the same poor people will always stay poor no matter what they do but that there is a relativism at work. I think you described it well. The wealthy have often lost friends and family but their wealth will take care of them when they are elderly and need it . The Poor take care of one another but it causes lose of personal income. Perhaps Love is worth more than money to some people and money is worth more than Love to others. Then there are the folks that vacillate between wealth and poverty up and down and up again. The choices they make differ each time but the relativism at play here follows according to that choice. It is a learning experience for each individual as they go through life. I’m so glad there are options for us all.

Interesting stuff, and it shows how complex our problems are. One
thought, do you really believe the MY IRA is set up to help people,
being most liberal policy has hurt the poor more than helped? I believe
with the debt we have government is looking for anyway it can to steal
our money. MY IRA or Government IRA is a perfect tool to replace your dollars with IOUs or T=Bills or what ever.
