We are all in this together. When one is hurting, we are all hurting.
I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 1999. It ended up getting into my lymphatic system (which is not really a good thing). After surgery and radiation I realized I was forever physically changed. Because of all the trauma to my lymphatic system I developed a condition called lymphedema. I had to change my activities. What I did for my bliss before was to rollerblade and lift weights. That exacerbated my condition. That’s when I remembered my childhood love of horses. I decided to get a horse and it changed my life.
