Once Upon a Town: The Miracle of the North Platte Canteen

North Platte, a small town in the middle of Nebraska, was at the center of rail lines transporting troops across the country en route to their respective theaters  during World War II. This town made it their mission to support and encourage all troops who passed through their community.
